I have always been fascinated by human behaviour, past and present. The past is our history and often defines the context of human interaction. The present is often rooted in the past.

In Andalucia, Spain, Semana Santa is a Catholic tradition that goes back to Medieval times. In Seville, churches have affiliated brotherhoods (hermanidad) that take part in an elaborate procession, which can last up to 11 hours.
